Job Title: Womens Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $99 – $106/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Womens Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Womens Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP):
• Function as a versatile and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an OBGYN setting, open to either NP or PA (strong preference for PA)
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient care services
• See an average of 16 patients per day
• Perform routine GYN exams and procedures
• Assist in surgical procedures including robotics and laparoscopy
• Work collaboratively with OBGYN MDs who will provide support
• Serve patient demographics aged 14 and older
• Maintain both hospital and clinic privileges
• Maintain a valid Washington State license prior to start date
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Provide case logs/documentation of clinical services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested during the previous 24 months
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Adhere to COVID-19 vaccine requirements (no exemptions)
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable specialty/setting
