Job Title: Ambulatory Care
Location: Pella, Iowa
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $42 – $46/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Ambulatory Care for a temporary assignment in Pella, Iowa. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Ambulatory Care:
• Work as a clinic RN, maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers
• Serve as nursing coverage in the clinic, assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments, and procedures
• Perform duties within the scope of the professional license and under the direction of the provider
• Maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification
• Maintain current license in the state of Iowa
• Apply superior nursing process skills and patient service drive
• Organize and set priorities, working effectively under pressure with minimum supervision
• Function as an effective team member
• Utilize excellent telephone communication skills and customer-focused interpersonal relationship skills
• Think, converse, and type simultaneously during patient interactions and calls
• Utilize basic PC skills and Windows Operating Systems for clinical documentation and communication
