Location: Calais, Maine
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OR for a temporary assignment in Calais, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OR:
• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period
• Scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as needed
• Communicate effectively with other members of the perioperative team
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for PACU positions (may obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Maintain current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maine
• Apply at least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience in patient care delivery
• Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and communication
• Pursue or maintain CNOR certification (preferred)
• Work Monday through Thursday, 40 hours per week on 10-hour shifts
