Job Title: PTA
Location: San Ramon, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $39 – $42/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PTA for a temporary assignment in San Ramon, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PTA:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services in a home health setting
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Serve assigned county territories including multiple cities across Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and surrounding areas
• Meet weekly productivity requirements of at least 30 points per week if under guaranteed hours option
• Be willing to travel outside the assigned service area or work weekends as needed to maintain weekly visit expectations
• Provide weekend coverage when required
• Be willing and able to see Covid+ and Covid PUI patients
• Complete documentation, drive/travel time, patient visits, and phone calls to patients and doctors within the approved hours per visit
• Maintain current CA PTA License, BLS certification, and valid Driver's License
• Maintain current Auto Insurance and Auto Registration
• Comply with health and immunization requirements including TB (annual), MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), and Flu (annual)
• Complete required Drug Screen and Physical prior to start
• Disclose all Requested Time Off (RTO) at the time of submission
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards throughout the assignment
