Job Title: OT
Location: Oakland, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Oakland, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Prioritize start of care visits as a primary responsibility
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Complete mandatory next-day reporting of start of care visits
• Submit clinical notes and other documentation within 48 hours of each visit
• Maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff
• Remain generally responsive during normal business hours
• Utilize Kinnser documentation system for all clinical records
• Operate within assigned territory with the ability to expand coverage area as needed
• Work a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Complete 3 full days of training, including one day in-house and two days in the field
• Meet a productivity requirement of 30 points per week
• Obtain pre-approval from the Clinical Supervisor for any overtime hours
• Maintain a valid California Occupational Therapy License
• Apply a minimum of one year of Home Health experience in practice
