Job Title: SURG-TECH
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $49 – $53/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a SURG-TECH for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a SURG-TECH:
• Perform surgical technologist duties requiring extensive experience across multiple specialties including orthopedic, neurological, and vascular procedures
• Work 36-40 hours per week, with scheduling options of three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts
• Participate in call rotation, approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend (split between Call 1 and Call 2)
• Fulfill 1-2 call shifts per week split between Call 1 and Call 2, with potential for increased call volume based on department needs
• Adhere to a 30-minute on-site response time from the time of call
• Participate in holiday call rotation as required based on patient census and staffing
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation
• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• CST certification preferred but not required
• Minimize requested time off to receive priority consideration
• Comply with all updated compliance requirements and facility documentation standards
