Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 6:00AM – 6:00AM x 1
Term: 1-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 – $332/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 1-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:
• Provide General Cardiology coverage including clinic, procedures, and call shifts
• See approximately 17-18 patients per day in an adult patient population
• Work in both clinic and hospital settings
• Support APP with Interventional Cardiology when performing General Cardiology duties
• Provide coverage of 1 week plus 1 weekend per month
• Work in a clinic with 1 full-time physician, with lab duties 3 days per week
• Perform and interpret special procedures including nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitors
• Perform CT reads (preferred skill)
• Conduct rounding on weekends as needed (no overnight callback expected)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and charting
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC/LOQ
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Meet minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiology
• Comply with all credentialing and privileging requirements, with full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start
