Job Title: MA
Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 17-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $44 – $47/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MA for a temporary assignment in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. These positions are 17-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MA:
• Assist providers with patient care in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice setting
• Perform patient intake, including rooming and vital signs
• Provide clinical support to providers throughout the day
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain current Medical Assistant Certification
• Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Provide 2 professional references prior to submission
• Comply with required health and immunization documentation including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing
• Complete fit testing as required
• Submit to criminal background check verification
• Complete employment verification and confidentiality agreement requirements
• Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and compliance documentation requirements
