Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
• Maintain active RN license
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR for documentation purposes
• Successfully pass telemetry strip competency test on Day 1
• Work every other weekend
• Adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover and varying levels of care needs
