Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Hamilton, Montana
Schedule: 7:00PM – 5:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Hamilton, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide professional nursing care to patients with various acuities across the age spectrum
• Evaluate the nursing process and document findings in the EMR
• Collaborate with ancillary staff and communicate with providers and co-workers regarding patient conditions
• Provide care across multiple surgical specialties including General, Urology, Ortho Spine, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Endoscopy, and Pain Management
• Work in Pre-operative, Post-operative, and PACU settings
• Maintain preferred certifications including ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Work assigned shifts from 0630 – 1700
• Fulfill call requirement of one night per week and one weekend every month
• Provide possible on-call coverage for holiday periods
