Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $78 – $84/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Serve as a registered nurse with demonstrated expertise in nursing practice
• Supervise patient care delivery on the Medical/Surgical unit
• Oversee and manage nursing staff performance and development
• Manage Medical/Surgical unit operations effectively
• Collaborate with the Leadership team to facilitate efficient clinical operations
• Support and promote staff development initiatives
• Ensure effective management of departmental resources
• Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts on the Medical/Surgical unit
• Maintain required certifications as outlined in the job description
• Pass Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check as required
• Maintain access to a reliable source of personal transportation
