Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Kremmling, Colorado
Schedule: 6:00AM – 4:00PM x 6
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Kremmling, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Apply Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent protocols in patient care
• Apply Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) standards in patient care delivery
• Apply Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) protocols as required
• Maintain Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN) certification or work toward certification
• Implement clinical pathways to achieve patient outcomes
• Work night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week plus 2 on-call shifts
• Provide holiday and on-call coverage as required
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
• Trauma Level IV experience preferred
• Disclose all requests for time off during the interview process
