Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Jefferson City, Missouri
Schedule: 10:00PM – 6:30AM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $273 – $294/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiation Oncologist for a temporary assignment in Jefferson City, Missouri. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiation Oncologist:
• Provide Radiation Oncology services during scheduled coverage dates (Nov 23-25, Dec 21-24 with half day on the 24th, Dec 28-31)
• Work shift hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Perform advanced radiation therapy procedures including SBRT, SRS, and related techniques
• Maintain and utilize Epic EMR system for all documentation and charting
• Provide care for patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (ages 18-99+)
• Manage an average patient volume of 15-20 patients per treatment week
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff including RN and Radiation Therapists
• Maintain current American Board of Radiology (ABR) board certification
• Maintain valid state licensure; IMLC accepted
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Submit CV and work history in mm/yy-mm/yy format with explanations for any gaps over 30 days
• Ensure all required compliance documentation and certifications are current and complete
• Be financially responsible for any facility-issued equipment returned at end of assignment
