Job Title: ED
Location: Clinton, Illinois
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 12-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ED for a temporary assignment in Clinton, Illinois. These positions are 12-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ED:
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER
• Consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required
• Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
• Meets the communication needs of patient and family
• Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations
• Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• Maintains current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
• Maintains current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• ENPC, TNCC, and TNS certification preferred
• Works night shift, 6:30pm – 7:00am, with rotating weekends
