Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Lewistown, Montana
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $57 – $61/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Lewistown, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Provide integrated, holistic, and professional nursing services to patients in coordination with other health care team members
• Ensure safe, efficient, and caring nursing services that focus on priority health needs of the individual
• Provide nursing care that utilizes education and active participation with the patient and family to enable them to attain and maintain optimum health
• Practice professional nursing that meets and exceeds standards outlined by Montana’s state and national Nurse Practice Acts
• Care for majority adult patients with rare/occasional pediatric patients on the Med Surg unit
• Work night shift schedule
• Maintain current Montana nursing license
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Must be a graduate nurse from an accredited nursing college
