Job Title: MED-SURG/TELE
Location: Globe, Arizona
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG/TELE for a temporary assignment in Globe, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG/TELE:
• Provide patient care services as a Dayshift RN in Tele/Med-Surg on a 7a-7p schedule
• Maintain experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry; Step Down experience preferred but not required
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for clinical documentation
• Operate Alaris pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/OBS and 1:4 for Step Down
• Be available to be canceled up to 3 times during the contract period
• Accept the option to take call during times of low census in rotation with full-time staff
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement; no exceptions
• Adhere to the 100-mile radius rule; must not have a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility
• Limit requested time off to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
• Understand that guaranteed hours will not apply if shifts are canceled by the facility
