Job Title: LCSW
Location: Albany, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $48 – $52/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a LCSW for a temporary assignment in Albany, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a LCSW:
• Provide social work services to hospice patients and family members through the final stages of illness
• Deliver services in home settings including patient residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes
• Provide medical social services and counseling support to patients and families
• Offer spiritual support and bereavement support services
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospice team to support pain and symptom management
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• Maintain valid Oregon LMSW (Masters-level Social Worker) or CSWA (Clinical Social Work Associate) licensure
• Utilize personal automobile for patient visits and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Maintain auto liability/property damage insurance as required by law and keep personal vehicle in good working order
• Apply experience in hospital or medical social work settings to hospice care delivery
• Work toward or maintain Oregon LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure as preferred qualification
