Location: Ephrata, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $277 – $298/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ENT for a temporary assignment in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ENT:
• Work clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break; OT hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 or 4:00 PM
• Cover 5 OR days per month and 7 clinic days per month
• Manage a clinic patient volume of 26-27 patients per day and approximately 6 surgeries per day
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage (December 23 at 7:00 AM through December 29 at 7:00 AM), with 0-2 hours callback expectation
• Provide care across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in both clinic and OR settings
• Perform general ENT procedures; comfort with parathyroid, Cochlear, and Baha procedures preferred
• Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants and clinical support assistants
• Coordinate outpatient surgeries; patients requiring inpatient admission are transferred to appropriate facility
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain active PA license or IMLC/LOQ
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Hold active DEA registration
• Meet board certification or board eligibility requirement
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Complete full compliance requirements no later than 2 weeks prior to start date
• Submit Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing
• Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection, with results received within 2 weeks of signing
• Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
