Job Title: ED
Location: ST JOHNSBURY, Vermont
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $55 – $60/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ED for a temporary assignment in ST JOHNSBURY, Vermont. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ED:
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care
• Consult with other specialties as required
• Collaborate with other health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care
• Function as a proactive team member in a rural ED environment
• Maintain current VT or compact multi-state RN License
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Utilize Meditech electronic health record system for documentation
• Complete credentialing requirements no later than five business days before start date
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure
• Begin orientation on Wednesdays as scheduled
