Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Morrisville, Vermont
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $55 – $60/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Morrisville, Vermont. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care to patients
• Provide nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of employees
• Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care
• Maintain active ACLS certification
• Maintain active BLS certification
• Maintain active TNCC certification
• Maintain active PALS or ENPC certification
• Maintain active NRP certification
• Complete de-escalation training and maintain required certification
• Ensure a renewal plan is in place for any certifications that are not active prior to the start date
