Job Title: COTA
Location: Salinas, California
Schedule: 4:00PM – 4:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $42 – $45/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a COTA for a temporary assignment in Salinas, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a COTA:
• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans for short-term and long-term residents
• Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care focused on improving functional independence
• Communicate effectively with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Complete documentation in Net Health per facility standards
• Maintain an active OTA License
• Demonstrate strong documentation and time-management skills
• Maintain a flexible and collaborative mindset
• Adhere to a preferred Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday schedule
