Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Must have Hawaii License by start of assignment
• Work nights with 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation
• No guarantee of hours
• Provide emergency room nursing care in a 28-bed department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with fast patient turnover
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
