Location: Quincy, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $81 – $88/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Quincy, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
• Work in inpatient/swing/SNF settings with potential to cover at hospital as needed
• Hold and maintain a current California Physical Therapy License
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA
• Demonstrate compliance with state regulatory requirements
• Apply a minimum of one (1+) year of experience in acute, swingbed/skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings
• Utilize excellent interpersonal communication skills when interacting with patients and staff
• Provide compassionate, detail-oriented patient care
• Apply up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
• Solve problems independently or collaborate with others as appropriate
• Manage patients with varying personalities and diagnoses effectively
• Write timely and accurate reports and correspondence at a professional level within departmental standards
• Use computer systems and software proficiently for documentation and reporting
• Continuously pursue and learn new treatment techniques
• Demonstrate punctuality and timeliness in all responsibilities
• Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Adhere to all policies and procedures for patient care delivery
