Salary: $72000.00 – $120000.00
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RCP for a permanent assignment in Lincoln City, Oregon.
Responsibilities for a RCP:
• Provide effective respiratory care through approved client assessment, diagnostics, therapeutics, and education
• Initiate provision of services based on physician orders and approved protocols
• Deliver treatment and diagnostic patient care services to critical and non-critical patients
• Serve all age groups and patient populations using evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system
• Maintain current registration by National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT)
• Maintain current state of Oregon Respiratory Care License
• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification upon hire
• Obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Obtain PALS certification within 90 days of hire
• Obtain NRP certification within six (6) months of hire
• Apply skills and knowledge to assist and care for patients, including recognizing symptoms, drug properties and interactions, treatments, and preventive health-care measures within scope of practice
• Communicate effectively in written and oral form, including group presentations and exchange of complex information between team members
• Organize, plan, and prioritize work to meet required time frames and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proactively resolve conflicts and handle complaints, disputes, and negotiations to reach mutually beneficial decisions
• Work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics, demonstrating sensitivity to age-related differences in care and communication
• Apply knowledge of medical records, procedures, and terminology, including the ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
