Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Lancaster, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Lancaster, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care using the nursing process
• Accept responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Work night shifts (7p-7:30a)
• Complete 5 weekend shifts per the 6-week schedule
• Hold an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred)
• Maintain a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues as they arise
• Demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Make independent decisions utilizing critical thinking skills
• Perform medium-level physical work, including exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius
