Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 7:30AM – 5:30PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $101 – $108/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Provide Nurse Practitioner (NP) services specializing in Cardiology, specifically Electrophysiology (EP)
• Work 10-hour day shifts, 7am–5pm, as a 1.0 FTE for a 6-month assignment
• Perform both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties, including rounding and admissions
• Manage an average of 12–14 adult patients per day
• Hold and maintain a valid Washington State ARNP license (compact/NLC not accepted)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
• Demonstrate 12 months of clinical practice within the ARNP area of specialization within the past five (5) years, or graduation from an accredited program within the past 12 months
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation
• Work independently, as the provider will be functioning in a solo capacity
• Hold both clinic and hospital privileges (inpatient + outpatient)
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Adhere to all applicable facility policies, procedures, and credentialing requirements
