Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Audiologist for a permanent assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities for a Audiologist:
• Use appropriate critical thinking and judgment in the provision of care
• Perform all aspects of treatment based on accepted national, departmental, and evidence-based standards
• Provide treatment that meets or exceeds departmental outcome standards
• Document in a timely, accurate manner which supports medical necessity in accordance with department standards
• Submit required paperwork for billing, accurate charges, and authorizations
• Demonstrate appropriate use of time management according to departmental productivity standards
• Demonstrate initiative in individual professional development
• Complete all required education for licensure/certification in a timely manner
• Actively promote the profession within the community
• Provide supervision according to state, federal, and professional association standards
• Incorporate and educate patients, families, and caregivers in treatment, goal setting, and discharge planning as appropriate
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
