Job Title: CNA
Location: Hot Springs, South Dakota
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $29 – $32/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CNA for a temporary assignment in Hot Springs, South Dakota. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CNA:
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide compassionate bedside care and support
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, weights, and patient observations
• Assist nurses with treatments and procedures
• Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
• Care for patients in the ER under RN supervision when needed
• Maintain current CNA certification through the South Dakota Board of Nursing
• Obtain BLS-CPR Certification within 60 days of hire
• Read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Visually and auditorially observe current physical and mental statuses of patients and detect any changes in status
• Verbally communicate with patients, members of the healthcare team, visitors, and family
• Demonstrate compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
• Work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Maintain commitment to patient dignity, safety, and quality care
