Job Title: Neurologist
Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $233 – $251/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Neurologist for a temporary assignment in Dover, New Hampshire. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Neurologist:
• Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients in an outpatient neurology clinic setting
• Manage patients with the following conditions: migraines, stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis (MS), sleep disorders, and restless leg syndrome
• See established/return adult patients at approximately 30-minute intervals
• Manage an average daily census of 12-14 patients
• Work collaboratively alongside 3 APPs and nursing staff
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and charting
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in 8-hour shifts
• Maintain active New Hampshire (NH) state license and board certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Complete credentialing requirements within 90-day timeframe
• Provide name and NPI number for submittal and name clear process
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation prior to patient care activities
• Practice without supervision required
• No procedures, EMGs, or sleep studies required
