Job Title: OT
Location: Lakeview, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Lakeview, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Evaluate, select, perform and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities designed to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients upon physician referral
• Work collaboratively with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals
• Apply current knowledge of occupational therapy as related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Maintain valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist as required by the Oregon State Board of Health
• Maintain a current valid Oregon driver’s license
• Utilize principles of team approach, recognizing the capabilities and limitations of other team members
• Demonstrate effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect
• Maintain a positive attitude and utilize strong communication skills throughout patient care delivery
