Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Washington, Iowa
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Washington, Iowa. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide nursing care services as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room setting
• Work scheduled shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• Fulfill 12-hour shift requirements from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Deliver timely and effective emergency patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in an emergency environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards of practice
• Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications
• Respond effectively to high-acuity and rapidly changing patient conditions
