Job Title: Radiologist
Location: York, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 2:00PM – 10:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $339 – $365/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiologist for a temporary assignment in York, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiologist:
• Provide locum tenens coverage at a hospital-affiliated outpatient breast imaging center, with a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks of coverage per month, Monday through Friday, weekdays only • Independently interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, including contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) • Perform and interpret breast ultrasound examinations • Interpret breast MRI studies independently • Perform and oversee image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsies, ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, MRI-guided breast biopsies, and image-guided breast needle localizations • Manage variable daily patient volumes, including up to 100 screening mammograms, 30–35 diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds (with potential for up to 2 additional contrast-enhanced mammograms daily), and up to 7 interventional radiology procedures • Collaborate with and provide support to mammography and ultrasound technologists, breast imaging navigators, LPNs, and RNs • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient record management • Utilize Visage PACS, Transpara AI, and Rad AI imaging platforms • Maintain current BLS certification • Maintain an active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification • Maintain current DEA registration • Maintain ABR board certification in Diagnostic Radiology • Complete full compliance requirements, including health requirements (vaccines, physical, and fit testing), within required timeframes • Submit required credentialing documentation, including Social Security Number, photo, PATCH results, Child Abuse Search, and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection, within required deadlines • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and credentialing requirements
