Job Title: SLP
Location: Newport, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $57 – $62/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a SLP for a temporary assignment in Newport, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a SLP:
• Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions causing decline in self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence
• Evaluate and treat patients experiencing difficulty with speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition (memory, attention, and problem solving)
• Provide care to adult patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in both acute and outpatient settings
• Maintain current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license
• Maintain Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association, or actively participate in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Travel to multiple points of care as required
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
