Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Work 36 hours per week primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit
• Occasionally float between various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
• Work day shift hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Work every other weekend as required
• Demonstrate current and proficient use of Epic EMR system (refresher training or 1:1 assistance is not available)
• Maintain a minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrate ability to read and interpret Telemetry (competency will be tested on day one)
• Maintain active BLS certification
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Disclose all Requested Time Off (RTO) at the time of submission
