Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Work primarily on the Respiratory unit where COVID patients are admitted
• Float occasionally between various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
• Work 36 hours per week on Night shift (7p – 7:30a)
• Work every other weekend
• Demonstrate current and proficient use of Epic EMR (refresher classes or 1:1 assistance are not available options)
• Maintain active BLS certification
• Maintain active Ohio RN license
• Demonstrate minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrate ability to read Telemetry (competency will be tested on day one)
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Comply with scheduling requirements including potential cancellation of up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
• Disclose all Requested Time Off (RTO) at time of submission
