Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $55 – $60/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide patient care services as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Work evening shift hours (2p-2a), 36 hours per week
• Maintain a minimum of 3 years of ER RN experience
• Demonstrate recent Emergency Room experience
• Demonstrate recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years
• Maintain valid Oregon RN State License
• Maintain current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Complete organization-approved workplace violence training or obtain by the last day of the month following the 90-day grace period
• Obtain AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
• Obtain AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC certification within 1 year of hire
• Obtain Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of hire
• Obtain Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or equivalent certification (preferred)
