Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Audiologist for a permanent assignment in Bethel, Alaska.
Responsibilities for a Audiologist:
• Determine type and degree of hearing impairment in patients
• Implement habilitation and rehabilitation services for patients
• Utilize telemedicine capabilities in patient care delivery
• Share responsibility for an office assistant with the Specialty Clinic
• Participate in the hiring, orienting, training, and evaluation of the office assistant in collaboration with the Specialty Clinic Supervisor
• Develop and manage department budget
• Maintain Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology or equivalent
• Maintain current state licensure
• Apply a minimum of two years of audiology experience in clinical practice
• Demonstrate proficiency consistent with a Master’s Degree in Audiology
