Location: Sitka, Alaska
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $78 – $84/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OR for a temporary assignment in Sitka, Alaska. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OR:
• Work within the Operating Room handling all types of elective and emergency surgical cases
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures
• Multi-task efficiently to ensure surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner
• Utilize after-hour call services to staff the Operating Room for nights, holidays, and weekends
• Maintain a valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Apply a minimum of 3 years of OR experience to deliver high-quality surgical care
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Apply experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Room settings as applicable
