Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $58 – $62/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Provide the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult setting
• Utilize specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Apply the nursing process in all aspects of patient care delivery
• Work 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotation
• Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed for staffing
• Maintain a current RN License to work in Colorado
• Maintain current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Maintain current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Maintain current Flu Vaccine with no exemptions (required October 1st through April 1st)
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience
• Submit required documentation including resume, Nursys License, Skills Sheet, BLS, ACLS, and proof of Flu Vaccine upon application
• Comply with CAPS (Colorado Criminal History) requirements prior to start
