Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Calais, Maine
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $57 – $61/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Calais, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care consistent with Maine State Standards
• Communicate effectively with all members of the health care team in developing patient care plans
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all patient-related matters
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Maintain current BCLS certification
• Obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire date
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Demonstrate excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Function independently in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
