Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $101 – $108/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Vancouver, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):
• Perform fluoroscopic studies with support from radiologic technologists, including operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Independently perform required procedures: Esophagram, Upper GI, Upper GI Small Bowel Follow Through, and Modified Barium Swallow
• Perform preferred procedures when applicable: Barium Enema Single Contrast and Barium Enema with Air
• Provide final interpretation and sign reports under oversight of a supervising radiologist
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) during Modified Barium Swallow studies, with each provider completing their respective portions of the exam
• Participate in a proctoring program to support credentialing and departmental integration
• Provide documentation (case list) of at least 100 patients representative of privileges requested within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility
• Provide documentation of at least 5 procedures for each listed procedure type within the past 24 months for credentialing purposes
• See an average of 8–10 patients per day across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with no call requirement
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and charting
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement (medical/religious exemptions permitted)
• Serve young adult to elderly patient populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings
