Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: La Jolla, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $113 – $122/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a temporary assignment in La Jolla, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Work as a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant in a clinic setting
• See approximately 12 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Provide care within an Infusion department
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Demonstrate and apply infusion experience in daily patient care
• Perform pre and post operative care as required
• Maintain active Board Certification
• Maintain valid California (CA) state license
• Submit full work history in chronological order with gaps over 60 days explained
• Provide education history including Residency and Fellowship details
• Submit active license and certifications upon request
• Provide references, notable achievements, research, publications, and professional society memberships if available
• Submit first and third party documents for malpractice claims if applicable
• Complete credentialing process within the required 45 to 60 day timeframe
