Job Title: RECT
Location: Waimea, Hawaii
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $64/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RECT for a temporary assignment in Waimea, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a RECT:
• Direct an activity program to meet patients/residents social, recreational, physical, educational, and spiritual needs using meaningful activity
• Enable patients/residents to function and maintain their dignity and fullest mental and physical capacity for as long as possible
• Enhance patients/residents feelings of usefulness and encourage self-confidence, self-respect, and empowerment
• Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive activity programs tailored to patient/resident needs
• Oversee program development and performance improvement initiatives
• Develop and monitor budgets related to activity programs
• Manage personnel, including supervising and directing the work of subordinates
• Plan and conduct training programs for staff
• Utilize MDS experience in supporting patient/resident care planning and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients/residents, staff, and other stakeholders in English
• Work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers certification
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Adhere to all applicable facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
