Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Maintain current licensure verified through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Basic EKG Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Pharmacology Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Core Competencies as part of onboarding
• Maintain BSN degree requirement
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements and related health policies
• Maintain current MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and Tdap immunization records
• Complete required fit testing
• Maintain current 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot) TB testing
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Submit 2 professional references prior to placement
• Complete criminal background check clearance
• Complete CNE First Look orientation packet
• Sign and submit CNE Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement
• Provide employment verification documentation
• Complete CNE Confirmation of Assignment and Work Attestation
• Submit to occupational health clearance process
• Comply with fingerprinting requirements (RN only)
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance documentation requirements
