Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $75 – $81/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide nursing care to patients in collaboration with families in accordance with the American Nurse’s Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice
• Provide primary nursing care for patients and assume responsibility for other nursing care processes
• Perform patient assessment, develop and implement plan of care, carry out interventions, and conduct evaluations
• Maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island
• Maintain current CPR certification and any other credentialing or certification necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty
• Work 3×12 Night shifts (non-negotiable)
• Submit all Request Time Off (RTO) at time of submission
• Complete required Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Provide 2 professional references at time of submission
• Complete required onboarding credentials, exams, and competency assessments including Specialty Competency Exam, Basic EKG Exam, Pharmacology Exam, and Core Competencies
• Comply with all vaccination requirements including COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines
• Complete required health screenings including PPD/IGRA, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and Fit Test
• Must be proficient in the English language
