Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Hanover, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 – $332/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Hanover, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide anesthesiology services at an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Provide 2–3 weeks of coverage per month
• Support CRNAs as part of the anesthesia team
• Perform medical directing as well as conducting own anesthesia cases
• Administer anesthesia for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OB
• Perform orthopedic cases with regional nerve blocks (high volume requirement)
• Care for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients (infants under 1 year for ENT procedures such as ear tubes and tonsillectomies)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Maintain Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Maintain active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Complete all credentialing and privileging requirements within required timeframes
• Comply with all health requirements including vaccines, physical examination, and fit testing
