Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide primary care to Emergency Room (ER) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients
• Float to other nursing units as needed to assist (not as a primary nurse)
• Expedite tasks and assist on other floors as needed
• Perform patient sitting duties as required
• Assist with patient transport
• Conduct telemetry monitoring
• Serve as a member of the rapid response team as needed
• Participate as a member of the code blue team as needed
• Work 12-hour shifts during evenings and nights
• Maintain a schedule of 72-80 hours per 2-week pay period
• Must have ER and ICU experience
