Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3

Salary: $60153.60 – $83990.40
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a permanent assignment in Alamosa, Colorado.
Responsibilities for a RRT:
• Perform advanced respiratory care procedures including ventilator care, suctioning, artificial airway care, resuscitation, bedside spirometry, ABG specimen collection and interpretation, and chest X-ray interpretation
• Administer bronchial hygiene and therapeutic procedures including IPPB, Incentive Spirometry, EZ-PAP, HHN, CPT, bland aerosol administration, humidification therapy, and oxygen therapy
• Perform CPR and provide basic and advanced airway maintenance
• Conduct smoking cessation education and asthma education
• Perform EKGs, EEGs, and Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
• Perform Mobile Cardiac Telemetry, Holter, and Event Monitor hookups
• Maintain an organized medical record utilizing clinical forms and EMR for documentation
• Maintain active Colorado Respiratory Therapy license in good standing
• Maintain current BLS certification; obtain ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire
• Maintain credentialing with the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Perform all basic and selected advanced respiratory care therapeutic procedures as directed and monitored by appropriate personnel
