Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Must obtain an active State of Hawaii RN license prior to start of assignment
• Work a varied schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly) with no guarantee of hours
• Provide nursing care in a 28-bed Emergency Room department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high patient turnover, team-oriented environment
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Maintain current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Preferred certifications include Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC
• Possess and maintain a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Hawaii
• Arrive the Thursday prior to assignment start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
