Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Maintain current nursing licensure verified through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Basic EKG Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Pharmacology Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Core Competencies as part of onboarding
• Maintain BSN degree documentation
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination and health policy requirements
• Maintain current immunization records including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza Vaccine
• Complete required Fit Testing for respiratory protection compliance
• Maintain tuberculosis screening documentation including 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot)
• Submit and maintain two professional references prior to submission
• Complete required orientation and onboarding documentation including confidentiality agreement and confirmation of assignment
• Undergo criminal background check clearance
• Comply with employment verification requirements
• Submit CNE Work Attestation prior to start
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures as outlined in the onboarding process
• Complete RI Fingerprinting requirements (RN only)
